PROJECT DESCRIPTION

McQuoin Park is a new integrated development with a state of the art designed residential aged care service, retirement living units, a Health and Wellness Centre, onsite respite and community support services for seniors together with specifically designed dementia areas.

A Murray and Sons was engaged to supply a complete design and construct package of the hydraulic services on the entire project including fire pumping system and hot water plant room.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Bridge Plaza is a fully enclosed neighbourhood shopping centre, situated adjacent to Village Centre. The Centre was refurbished and the car park expanded with an addition of 80 new car parks and a rooftop solar generating plant was installed.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The redevelopment, encompassed the construction of a new two-storey courthouse and the renovation of the existing courthouse after services were transferred to the new building. When complete, the courthouse’s footprint will more than double, from its present size of 1535 sqm to 3655 sqm, and the number of courtrooms will increase from four to six.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Dongwha Timbers has expanded the site of the old Bombala sawmill, secured a 20 year timber supply agreement from Forests NSW, and built a modern computer controlled sawmill and timber processing plant.

The project included construction, testing and commissioning of three new building totalling 6,000m2 and associated boiler, kiln and significant electrical and plumbing infrastructure works.

A Murray and Sons installed over 15 kms of services during this project including storm water, water, recycled waters, high pressure gas mains, telecommunication and high and low voltage electrical conduits.

Gracewood Kellyville is part of an eight stage, $170 million development.

Stage 1. Included much of the infrastructure required for the larger development, including utility service mains; administration offices; swimming pool; cafe; and recreation facility.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Orange Regional Museum and Cultural Square was funded jointly by the Federal Government which provided $4 million, Orange City Council matched this with $2 million, the State Government has provided the land, valued at $1 million and another $1 million provided through community fundraising.

The museum aims to respectfully integrate a new building into the existing cultural precinct and to create a new identity while strengthening current civic conditions within the site. The building envelope is shaped to keep line-of-sight to the gallery and create a new civic square & protect it from winter southerlies. Stairs create a public amphitheatre and allow access to the rooftop landscaping. A sloping landscaped roof creates a public hill.

A Murray and Sons were engaged to complete all elements of the hydraulic services including the drainage from underneath the unique rooftop.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Stockland Shellharbour (formerly known as Shellharbour Square Shopping Centre) is one of the largest shopping centres approximately 20 km south of Wollongong. The shopping centre contains over 220 specialty stores.

Shellharbour is one of Stockland’s largest retail assets at 75,000sqm, including 3,300 car parking spaces. “The Stockland Shellharbour project is a four-star Greenstar rated development, in both the design and as-built ratings. Environmentally-sustainable initiatives within the development include a naturally-ventilated car park, rainwater collection for irrigation of landscaping, installation of wind turbines on the rooftop car park deck, and the installation of photovoltaic cells over the existing metal roof zones for power generation.

Murray and Sons were engaged to supply a complete design and construct package of the hydraulic services on the entire project including the rainwater collection.

This five story redevelopment included a mix of new and refurbished facilities, including the emergency department, operating theatres and day surgery unit, renal dialysis, medical, surgical and palliative care inpatient units, paediatrics unit, maternity, birthing suite and special care nursery, oral health unit and more.
